NComputing Inc., the manufacturer of hardware and software to create virtual desktops and known for its low-cost computing solutions, recently launched Numo. It is a chip that will put virtualized Windows and Linux applications on any device – like smart TVs, set-top boxes, media players, eBooks and will also make client computing way cheaper than it is.

It is a dual-core ARM CPU with embedded media processors which support dynamic bandwidth management, codecs and multiple protocols. Its graphics subsystem is Windows-compliant.
