Data Source Integrations

Connect trusted market intelligence platforms so your migration workspace always has the latest funding rounds, financial benchmarks, and company profiles.

Experimental Program

This feature is part of the MigrateForce AI Rollup for PE experimental program and is available to select customers by invitation. Contact migrateforce@sociallabs.com for access.

Why connect external data?

Integrations keep your migration plans grounded in fresh market evidence. Every data sync automatically enriches company records with verified ownership, valuation, and go-to-market signals so diligence and playbook creation start from a complete picture.

🔌 Overview

MigrateForce lets you connect third-party company intelligence sources directly inside the platform. Once connected, migration projects can pull firmographic, investment, and performance indicators straight into your workspace without manual exports. Integrations honor role-based permissions and log all sync activity for compliance reviews.

🛠️ Setup instructions

Workspace owners and admins can add integrations from the settings area. Every connection runs through our credential vault so secrets never appear in plain text.

  1. Navigate to User Settings → Integrations from the top-right avatar menu.
  2. Select PitchBook, Crunchbase, and/or Tracxn depending on your data coverage needs.
  3. Enter your organization's API credentials or delegated account details. MFA and IP allow-listing are supported for enterprise plans.
  4. Click Test connection to validate authentication scopes and confirm the platform can reach the provider's API. Approve the authorization prompt when requested.
  5. Configure data sync preferences—choose project workspaces, sync cadence (manual, hourly, daily), and field mappings before saving.
Keep credentials secure

Only workspace owners can view, rotate, or revoke stored credentials. After setup, use the Rotate key action in Integrations to update tokens without disrupting downstream sync jobs.

⚙️ Sync preferences

Each integration exposes flexible controls so you can tailor enrichment to your pipeline stage:

  • Entity filters: restrict updates to active migrations, draft diligence rooms, or tagged portfolios.
  • Field mapping: align provider fields with internal schema to avoid duplicate attributes.
  • Sync schedules: run manual pulls for pre-IC reviews or schedule recurring jobs for high-volume teams.
  • Audit logs: track who connected each source, when data was refreshed, and any errors the connector encountered.

🚀 Benefits

Teams that connect data sources report faster diligence cycles and fewer surprises post-migration:

  • Automatically populate company profiles during migration planning so analysts start with verified facts.
  • Validate and enrich existing CRM or ERP data before building migration runbooks.
  • Access real-time market intelligence without leaving the migration workspace.
  • Streamline diligence by combining financial, operational, and market insights in one place.

✅ Next steps

After the initial sync, monitor integration health from the Data Sources tab. Use theResync action for on-demand refreshes, and subscribe to integration alerts so your team is notified about credential expirations or API rate limits.
